Other Discounts That May Be Available

Sometimes Disney has other discounts available that may be better than the wedding rates we have available.  Here are a few types of discounts that have been available in the past and may be available this summer.  Just call 407-W-DISNEY or go to your local travel agent to request information about these special discounts and to make your reservation.  If you do not use our wedding room block, please contact us with your Disney Confirmation Number.  This will allow us to have our coordinator keep track of our wedding guests staying at Disney Resorts.

Staying at a Disney Resort

Where to stay is another important decision that you will have to make.  We suggest that you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort.  If you stay at one of the Disney Resorts, you will be entitled to may privileges that are only exclusive to Disney Resort Guests.

Here are a few privileges that you can expect:

  • Discounted Hotel Rates exclusively for Guests of the Wedding at selected Walt Disney World Resorts.

  • Spend more time in the parks and less time traveling to them:  When you stay off property, you will meet the thousands of other people who stay off property.  We have sat in traffic jams for over an hour trying to get to and from the Walt Disney World Resort Main Gates.  All of this can be avoided if you stay at a Disney Resort.

  • Character Caravan: Start the day with a smile! On certain mornings, Disney Characters appear in participating Walt Disney World® Resort hotels to send guests off for a magical day.

  • Complimentary Disney Transportation: Travel by complimentary motor coach, boat, or monorail throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort.

  • Disney Guest Service: Disney Cast Members handle all your reservations. Enjoy charge privileges on property. Disney Resort guests can also have purchases made throughout our Theme Parks and Downtown Disney® area conveniently delivered to their Disney Resort.

  • A Disney Midday Break: It's quick and convenient to head back to your Resort for a nap or a swim, then return to the Parks later in the day!

  • Services for Children: Parents can take a break, thanks to unique child activity centers, in-room babysitting, learning programs, and dinner clubs (nominal fee for services; subject to availability).

  • Extra Magic Hour: Every day, some of the most popular attractions at one Theme Park are open an extra hour for Guests at select Walt Disney World® Resort hotels. Valid Theme Park ticket and Resort ID required.

Here is a tip I learned a long time ago that will help you in selecting a hotel.  Below is a map of the area.  Think of I-4 as what divides US Highway 192 (IRLO BRONSON MEMORIAL HWY) into East and West.  If you stay on the West Side, expect considerable traffic delays to reach the Walt Disney World Resort.  On the West Side, there is only one way to get to the Walt Disney World Resort, without going considerably out of your way.  If you stay on the East side, you will have no problem with traffic.  There are multiple routes into the Walt Disney World Resort that you can take.  Another way is to take Osceola Parkway (which is a toll road).
